Jerry Wayne Storey, born on June 1, 1959, passed away on [date of death]. Jerry’s vibrant and adventurous spirit touched the lives of all who knew him. From his days of playing Little League baseball and exploring his father’s farm to his time serving in the Air Force and pursuing a career as a truck driver, Jerry lived a life filled with passion and determination.
Despite facing challenges, including a serious spinal injury that left him permanently disabled, Jerry approached life with resilience and courage. In his final years, his love for dogs brought him comfort and companionship, and his warm and outgoing personality continued to draw friends and neighbors to his side.
Jerry is survived by his father and stepmother, Robert Wayne and Milah Storey; his sister and brother-in-law, Terri and Mark Sheldon; his beloved daughter, Tabathia Storey; and his cherished grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his mother, Kathy Stoner.
A visitation will be held from 1:30-2pm on Sunday, December 7, 2025, followed by a funeral at Bunker Hill Church of God. Interment will take place at The Storey Cemetery, 48 Bee Spring Road. Carr & Erwin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Jerry will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his memory will be cherished by those whose lives he touched.
