Jewell “J. O.” Hardy, 89, of Ethridge, TN, passed away on September 04, 2025, at Southern TN Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg, TN. He was a retired Murray Ohio employee and a member of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ. Mr. Hardy proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Lottie Hardy; three sons, Steven Hardy (Donna), Michael Hardy (Arlene), and Timothy Hardy (Nancy); three grandchildren, Brandon Hardy, Chris Hardy, and Kyle Hardy; as well as his beloved border collie, Zoey, and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Presley and Mary Pullum Hardy, and his sister, Margaret Hardy.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Monday, September 08, 2025, at Neal Funeral Home, with funeral services to follow at 1:00 PM, officiated by Bill Murphy. Interment will take place at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN, with full military honors.
