Jimmy Royce Winters, 77, of Summertown, TN, passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro, TN. He was a retired employee of Evers Construction and a devoted member of Mt. Horeb Baptist Church. Jimmy was born in Lawrence County, TN, and is survived by his loving wife, Jan Winters, two sons, Rob Winters and Josh Winters (Amber), and two cherished grandchildren, Breleigh and Kynsley Winters. He is also survived by three sisters, Shirley Konig, Teresa Walker (Steve), Dowann Winters, and a brother, David Winters (Holly), along with several nieces and nephews. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Barney and Imogene Burdick Winters.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. Funeral services will be held at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM on Monday, March 10, 2025, with Todd Ozment officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN.
