Julia Ann Kruse Lord, age 69, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at Southern TN Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg, TN. Julia was a beloved member of the community, known for her dedication to her pet shop and her active involvement in the Lawrenceburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Her love for Boston Terriers and her membership in the Audubon Society were just a few of the many ways she shared her passion for animals and nature with those around her.
Julia was preceded in death by her parents, Evon and Helen Baumer Kruse, her husband, Gary Wayne Lord, and her grandmother, Leona Frances Billhartz. She is survived by her daughter, Shelly Blade (Jamie) of Lawrenceburg, TN; sisters, Gloria Fredericks of Inglis, FL, and Annette Shuler of Shreveport, LA; nieces, Irene Lyte Haven of FL and Maggie Thomas of LA; nephews, Roy Fredericks of NC and Chip Shuler of LA; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, and at this time, there will be no services. Those who wish to honor Julia’s memory are invited to send flowers to the family or plant a tree in her memory.
Julia will be dearly missed by all who knew her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched. May she rest in peace.
