Recent statistics released by the Lawrenceburg Fire Department indicate that firefighters were dispatched to a total of 188 service calls throughout the month of July. Among these incidents, the department responded to five structure fires, which are critical situations requiring immediate attention. Additionally, there were two calls categorized under other fire-related incidents, showcasing the diverse nature of emergencies that the department handles.
The majority of the calls, however, were for medical assistance, with 131 rescue medical calls recorded. This highlights the essential role that firefighters play in emergency medical services within the community. The department also dealt with 11 false alarms, which can divert resources from genuine emergencies, as well as five hazardous condition calls that required their expertise to mitigate potential dangers.
Furthermore, the firefighters conducted 20 service calls, which included lift assists and support for other agencies, demonstrating their commitment to community service beyond fire suppression. Lastly, there were 14 good intent calls, which encompassed situations such as burn releases and unauthorized burns, reflecting the department’s proactive approach to fire safety and prevention.
