Junior “Hippie” Ellison, 72, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on June 16, 2025, at Southern TN Regional Health System. He was the beloved husband of JoAnn Goolsby Ellison for 46 years and a loving father to Chad Ellison and Jodi Long (Shane). Junior was a doting grandfather to Jake Smith, Jaden Ellison, and Luci Long, and a cherished great-grandfather to Mia Smith. He was the proud owner and operator of Ellison Signs for over 40 years and was a faithful attendee of Faith Church. Junior was known for his love of golf, pool, and cards, and will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and the Lawrenceburg community. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Junior will be forever remembered and missed by all who knew him. Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.
