On September 17, 2025, law enforcement officials from the Lauderdale County Drug Task Force carried out a search warrant at a residence located on County Road 283 in the Cloverdale region. This operation followed a thorough investigation into allegations of drug trafficking in the area. The Florence/Lauderdale Special Operations Team was responsible for making entry into the property.
During the search, authorities discovered approximately five grams of fentanyl and four grams of methamphetamine, in addition to various items associated with drug distribution. As a result of the operation, 37-year-old Bradley Kevin Bruce, a resident of Killen, Alabama, was taken into custody. He now faces multiple charges, including trafficking in fentanyl, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
The operation was a collaborative effort, with support from several agencies, including the Florence Police Department, the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office, the Lauderdale County District Attorney’s Office, and the Florence/Lauderdale Special Operations Team.
