Lawrence County Government offices, along with the Solid Waste Transfer Station, will cease operations at noon on Friday, December 19. This early closure is part of the preparations for the upcoming holiday season. Furthermore, all county offices will remain closed on Wednesday, December 24, and Thursday, December 25, in celebration of Christmas.
In addition to the county’s schedule, the City of Lawrenceburg has also declared its holiday hours. City offices will be closed on the same dates, December 24 and 25, allowing employees to observe the Christmas festivities. Residents should note that trash collection for Wednesday will proceed as usual; however, the pickup originally scheduled for Christmas Day will be postponed to Friday, December 26. Those who have double trash days are reminded to place their carts out early to ensure timely collection.
Looking ahead, city offices will also be closed on Thursday, January 1, in observance of the New Year holiday. Consequently, trash pickup that day will shift to Friday, January 2. Residents with double pickup days are again encouraged to set their carts out early to facilitate efficient service.
