The Lawrence County Commission Budget Committee is set to convene today at 4:30 PM to deliberate on the communication savings uncovered during the Spyglass audit and to plan the 2024-2025 budget review. Following this, the Animal Welfare Committee will gather at 5:30 PM to address topics such as the spay/neuter program, provide an update on the shelter, and discuss the interlocal agreement for shelter operation. Both meetings are scheduled to take place in the second-floor conference room of the Lawrence County Administrative Building. The public is encouraged to attend these sessions.
