The Lawrence County Commission has organized a series of meetings for the upcoming week. Kicking off the schedule, the Utilities Committee will convene on Monday, January 6th, at 5:15 PM. This meeting will be followed by a public session at 5:30 PM, where officials will discuss the County’s application for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds aimed at the construction of a new water tank in Leoma.
On Tuesday, January 7th, the Commission has planned three committee meetings. The Purchasing Committee will meet first at 4:30 PM, followed by the Agenda Committee at 5:00 PM, and concluding with the Emergency Services Committee at 5:30 PM. Lastly, the Facilities Committee is scheduled to gather on Thursday, January 9th, at 5:00 PM. These meetings are crucial for addressing various community needs and ensuring the effective management of county resources.
