Terra Dickey, the Register of Deeds for Lawrence County, was recognized with the prestigious title of “Tennessee Outstanding Register of the Year.” This accolade was bestowed upon her by her fellow Registers from around the state, highlighting her dedication and exemplary service. Notably, during the 2024 legislative session, Dickey took on the role of president of the Tennessee State Register of Deeds Association, further underscoring her leadership within the community.
In a similar vein, Tommy Lee Kidd, who serves as the Circuit Court Clerk for Lawrence County, also received significant accolades. He was honored with the “Tennessee Outstanding Court Clerk of the Year” award, an acknowledgment from his peers in the court clerk community across the state. Additionally, during the COAT awards ceremony later that evening, Kidd was presented with the “COAT State Court Clerk of the Year” award, marking another milestone in his career. Furthermore, Kidd currently holds the position of legislative chairman for the Tennessee State Court Clerks Association, reflecting his active involvement in shaping policies that affect local governance.
