The Lawrence County Election Commission is scheduled to convene on Thursday, December 11, at 4:15 p.m. The meeting will take place at the Election Office located at 702 Mahr Avenue. During this session, the Commission will conduct a review of the quarterly voter registrations for the period spanning October to December 2025. Following this review, all present members will sign the Voter Registration Inspection Report, which will subsequently be forwarded to the Tennessee State Division of Elections for official filing.
In addition to the voter registration review, the Commission will also finalize plans for the upcoming Loretto City Election, set for April 28, 2026. This election will include the selection of a mayor and one alderman. Individuals interested in running for these positions can obtain qualifying petitions at the Election Office. It is important to note that these petitions must be submitted by January 15, 2026, by 12:00 noon.
