Lawrence County EMS Seeks New Team Members

Lawrence County EMS is currently seeking applications for Full-Time Paramedics and Critical Care Paramedics to fill positions in a newly established 24/7 EMS Unit, which has recently been authorized. This initiative aims to enhance emergency medical services in the region, particularly in rural areas where Lawrence County serves as the primary provider for 911 EMS calls.

The organization operates under an updated AEMT Scope of Practice and adheres to advanced operational guidelines, ensuring that they deliver high-quality emergency care. It is important to note that Lawrence County EMS does not conduct planned recovery transports, focusing solely on emergency response.

All emergency medical service units in the fleet are Type 1 Advanced Life Support (ALS) vehicles, equipped with state-of-the-art technology. These include video laryngoscopy systems, Stryker power stretchers and loading systems, LUCAS devices for chest compressions, Sapphire IV pumps, Zoll X Series monitors, and stair chairs to facilitate patient transport.

Currently, there are no designated posting assignments within any of the three EMS stations. Interested candidates can reach out for more information or to arrange an interview by calling 931-762-3566 or by sending an email to @lawrencecountytn.gov.
