In the early hours of Monday, March 31st, emergency responders from Lawrence County Fire and Rescue were dispatched to a residential fire located within the Ethridge Fire District. Reports indicate that a lightning strike had impacted the home, leading to the confirmation of a fire within the structure. In response to the situation, an automatic aid Engine Company from Lawrenceburg Fire also arrived at the scene to assist.
With the combined efforts of both Ethridge Fire and Lawrenceburg Fire departments, the blaze was brought under control in a timely manner. At this point, there is no information available regarding any injuries that may have occurred as a result of the incident.
