On Tuesday, October 14, emergency responders from Lawrence County Fire & Rescue were dispatched to a series of urgent calls. The day was marked by a variety of incidents, including two separate motor vehicle accidents and numerous high-priority medical emergencies that required immediate attention. Additionally, the team provided mutual aid to Giles County, responding to a significant vegetation fire that was being fueled by strong winds. This fire spanned approximately 30 to 40 acres and posed a considerable threat near the Lawrence County border.
