On October 12, emergency responders from Lawrence County Fire & Rescue were dispatched to a significant structure fire within the Gandy Fire District. Upon arrival, the first units on the scene encountered a building that was engulfed in flames, with the fire spreading into an adjacent yard and threatening a nearby wooded area. Firefighters acted swiftly to bring the blaze under control, successfully extinguishing the flames. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries resulting from the incident.
