The Lawrence County Historical Society is scheduled to convene on Thursday, May 22nd, at 6:30 PM. The meeting will take place at the Southern Tennessee Higher Education Center. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from Brock Peters, the son of President Curtis Peters, who will deliver an informative PowerPoint presentation. His talk will focus on the historical practices involved in the safe harvesting of honeycombs from active beehives, as well as the essential maintenance of bee colonies. Members of the society are strongly encouraged to participate, and guests are invited to join in this engaging event.
