A representative from AT&T informed authorities that an unidentified individual or individuals had made off with around 1,500 feet of cable, resulting in a financial loss estimated at $10,000 for the company. This incident reportedly took place during the week of April 20th, specifically in the area between Stingy Ridge and Hughes Hollow Road.
