In November 2025, the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department logged a total of 1,071 service calls, as detailed in the latest statistics released by the department. Throughout the month, law enforcement officials made 119 arrests and executed 168 traffic stops, in addition to responding to 24 traffic accidents.
The nature of the calls varied widely, with deputies addressing 49 incidents related to animals, alongside 32 reports of suspicious individuals or activities. They also provided assistance to motorists on 16 occasions. Domestic violence incidents accounted for 23 calls, while vandalism was reported 16 times. Additionally, deputies responded to 24 burglar alarms and investigated 12 theft cases.
The department’s records for the month included 12 suicide attempts and an equal number of mental health transports, along with 10 cases of fraud. In terms of civil matters, deputies served 258 civil processes and conducted 20 funeral escorts. Notably, there was one deployment of the SWAT team, although there were no instances of Taser use reported during this period.
