Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department Reports for October

The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office has published its statistics for the month of October, revealing a comprehensive overview of law enforcement activities in the area. During this period, deputies engaged with the community by responding to a total of 1,070 calls for service. These interactions, which included both proactive measures and reactive responses, culminated in 306 arrests being made.

In addition to the arrests, deputies conducted 143 traffic stops throughout the month. They also managed a variety of civil processes, totaling 294, and provided assistance for 18 funeral escorts. The office dealt with 33 calls related to domestic violence, highlighting ongoing concerns in this area. Furthermore, there were 9 reported incidents of vandalism, 25 burglar alarms triggered, and 24 thefts recorded.
