The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office is reaching out to inform residents about an upcoming initiative set to take place this summer. The program is organized by Southwestern Advantage, a company that has earned accreditation from the Better Business Bureau and boasts an impressive A+ rating. For more than 160 years, college students have engaged in the Southwestern Advantage sales and leadership program, which focuses on promoting educational products to families.
This summer, a representative from the program will be visiting the Lawrenceburg community with the aim of expanding their business. The Sheriff’s Office wants to ensure that residents are aware of this initiative to help manage any inquiries or concerns that may arise. It is important to note that the college student involved has obtained the necessary permits and credentials to operate within Lawrence County.
The representative, Sophia Galbraith, hails from Tarpon Springs, Florida, and is a student at the University of Florida. Throughout the summer, she will be residing in the community and will be going door to door to introduce the educational products offered by Southwestern Advantage. Sophia has undergone extensive training, totaling over 100 hours, covering various topics such as business management, product knowledge, sales presentations, ethics, and safety.
Residents may notice her driving a 2014 black Kia Optima as she makes her rounds. The Sheriff’s Office encourages everyone to approach this interaction with kindness and understanding, as Sophia is simply working to promote her business while providing valuable educational resources to families in the area.
