Recently, the dedicated members of Lawrence County Fire & Rescue responded to a call for mutual assistance regarding a vehicle fire that occurred on Highway 64 in Giles County. Upon their arrival, the firefighters brought along New Prospect’s specialized rescue truck, which is outfitted with a state-of-the-art compressed air foam system. This innovative 31-gallon unit effectively combines water, foam, and compressed air, enabling a rapid response to such incidents. Remarkably, within just one minute of reaching the scene, the firefighters successfully extinguished the blaze, showcasing their efficiency and expertise in handling emergency situations.
