The City of Lawrenceburg has officially announced that municipal offices will be closed on Wednesday, December 24, and Thursday, December 25, 2025, in celebration of the Christmas holidays. Residents should note that trash collection scheduled for Wednesday will proceed as planned. However, the pickup originally set for Thursday, which coincides with Christmas Day, will be rescheduled to Friday, December 26. It is advisable for those with double trash days to place their carts out early to ensure timely collection.
In addition, city offices will also be shuttered on Thursday, January 1, 2026, in recognition of the New Year holiday. Correspondingly, the trash collection that would typically occur on January 1 will be postponed to Friday, January 2. Again, residents with double trash days are encouraged to have their carts ready ahead of time.
