In recognition of the New Year holiday, numerous local, state, and federal offices will be shuttered. Specifically, the City of Lawrenceburg has declared that its offices will not be open on Wednesday, January 1. Residents should also take note that there will be no garbage collection on that day. Instead, the trash that would typically be picked up on Wednesday will be collected on Thursday. Since this will be a double pickup day, residents are encouraged to place their carts out early to ensure timely service.
