Lawrenceburg Rotary Club Conducts Its Annual Gathering

On Friday, December 19, 2025, the Lawrenceburg Rotary Club convened for its annual meeting at the picturesque Lawrenceburg Rotary Park. During this gathering, members were treated to an insightful presentation by MacKenzie Coleman, the 2025 MTDF Fairest of the Fair. Coleman spoke passionately about her platform titled “It’s OK to Not be OK,” which aims to address mental health awareness and support. Following her presentation, President Maria Santini provided an overview of the club’s service initiatives that have taken place during the first half of the 2025/26 Rotary Year.

In a show of generosity, Santini presented a check for $1,000 to Nicole Miller from Grace House, highlighting the club’s commitment to community support. Later in the meeting, Santini was joined by fellow Rotarian John Beasley to accept a yard sign that acknowledges the club’s backing of the Lawrence County Substance Abuse Prevention (LCSAP) initiative, further emphasizing their dedication to local causes.

The meeting also included an important segment led by Nominations Chair John Johnstone, who introduced the proposed slate of officers for the upcoming 2026/27 Rotary Year. The nominated team includes Incoming President Nominee Scott Beasley, Directors Kane Watkins, Jason Grayson, and Sid Garner, as well as Incoming President Elect Tina Holt. Completing the slate are Secretary Paul Wayne, Treasurer John Beasley, and soon-to-be Immediate Past President Maria Santini. The club members formally voted to elect this slate, which will officially take office on July 1, 2026, marking a new chapter for the organization.
