LCF&R Prepares for Upcoming Severe Weather Conditions

As the weekend approached, members of Lawrence County Fire & Rescue, along with various emergency service teams, were actively preparing for the anticipated adverse weather conditions. On Wednesday, these dedicated departments responded to a flurry of service requests, which notably included two separate structure fires. Thanks to the swift assistance from the Lawrenceburg Fire Department, both fires were brought under control in a timely manner.

The efforts of these emergency responders did not wane as the week progressed. On Friday, they continued to handle a series of urgent calls, which encompassed a motor vehicle accident within the Ethridge Fire District. In addition to this incident, they also addressed several high-priority medical emergencies and responded to a vehicle fire located in the Henryville Fire District. The commitment of these teams to ensuring public safety remains unwavering, especially as they navigate the challenges posed by the impending weather.
