The Lawrence County High School Band has achieved a significant honor by receiving the Tennessee Bandmasters Sweepstakes Award for the 2023-24 academic year. This prestigious accolade was presented to Band Director Darrell Boston at the 66th Annual Tennessee Music Education Association Professional Development Conference. The Sweepstakes Award is conferred based on exceptional ratings earned in both marching and concert sight reading evaluations, reflecting the band’s dedication and talent in musical performance.
