Lyla Giannecchini, a junior at LCHS, proudly represented Lawrence County during the TISCA High School State Swimming Championships held at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville on February 7 and 8. During this prestigious event, she excelled by setting two personal records in her events: the 50 freestyle and the 100 backstroke.
Her impressive performance not only showcased her talent but also earned her a spot to compete in the upcoming tri-state Southeastern Swimming Championships, which will take place in Huntsville, Alabama, this weekend. This achievement highlights her dedication and skill in the sport, marking a significant milestone in her swimming career.
