During this incident, the deputy was compelled to respond to the aggressive behavior of the dogs, which ultimately led to the unfortunate death of one of the animals. In light of this event, the department issued a statement conveying their sorrow, stating, “This is a tragic incident, and we deeply regret the loss of life.”
