On Monday, August 4, the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office played a crucial role in the apprehension of a Louisiana man who was wanted for attempted murder. The individual, identified as 23-year-old Hitesh Mistry Jr. from Baton Rouge, was found at a residence situated in the 10000 block of U.S. Highway 31 in Tanner.
When law enforcement arrived at the scene, a brief standoff ensued. However, after negotiations, Mistry chose to surrender peacefully, allowing the situation to resolve without further incident. Following his arrest, he was taken into custody and is now being held at the Limestone County Detention Facility, where he awaits extradition back to Louisiana.
