On Thursday evening, a deputy from Limestone County, while on patrol, observed some unusual behavior near the intersection of Highway 251 and Bethel Road. Upon closer inspection, the officer discovered that the vehicle in question was displaying an incorrect license plate. This prompted the deputy to initiate a stop for further investigation. However, the driver, identified as 26-year-old Brandon Oneal Mitchell from Ardmore, attempted to flee the scene on foot.
The deputy quickly pursued Mitchell and was able to apprehend him shortly thereafter. A search of the vehicle revealed a number of incriminating items, including stolen catalytic converters, burglary tools, and drug paraphernalia. Following his arrest, Mitchell was taken to the Limestone County Detention Center, where he was booked on multiple charges related to the incident.
