Limestone Sheriff’s Department Reports Arrest in Drug Trafficking Case

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department has announced that 37-year-old Jeffrey Dewayne Madry, a resident of Athens, has been found guilty on multiple charges, including trafficking in methamphetamine and cocaine. In addition to these serious drug offenses, Madry was also convicted for illegally carrying a firearm, possessing drug paraphernalia, and having marijuana in his possession.

His arrest took place earlier this year, and it is important to note that there is an additional case against him that remains unresolved. The court has set a date for sentencing, which is slated for December 17. This case highlights ongoing concerns regarding drug-related crimes and their implications for community safety.
