Loretto Lioness Club to Organize Inaugural Wing Cook-off for First Responders

The Loretto Lioness Club is gearing up to host an exciting First Responders Wing Cook-off on Saturday, July 19, at Weathers Park, which is situated at 200 West Commerce Street. This event invites culinary enthusiasts to showcase their skills in a friendly competition, with a registration fee of $50 per team. Each participating team will be allocated a designated cooking space measuring 10 feet by 10 feet, along with 20 pounds of wings to prepare. Teams are responsible for bringing all other necessary cooking supplies.

Participants can begin setting up their cooking stations at 8 a.m., followed by an inspection scheduled for 11:30 a.m. The event will open its gates to the public at 2 p.m., allowing attendees to enjoy the festivities. The judging of the wing creations will take place between 3 and 5 p.m., where culinary talents will be evaluated. Admission to the event is free, making it accessible for everyone.
