Business Facilities, a leading publication for corporate site selection and economic development, has honored Magna International’s recent collaboration with the Tennessee Department of Economic & Community Development, Lawrence County Government, City of Lawrenceburg, Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce, and Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) with the 2023 Impact Award for EV Supplier/Manufacturing. Last July, Magna International unveiled plans to invest $790 million in three new Tennessee facilities, with nearly $200 million earmarked for a cutting-edge stamping and assembly plant in Lawrenceburg. This joint effort between the automotive powerhouse, the state of Tennessee, and Lawrence County has secured a prestigious position among the 19 projects recognized in Business Facilities’ 2023 Impact Awards.
