In a significant development, the Saint Joseph Police Department’s thorough investigation has resulted in the apprehension of Anthony Wade Cox, a 40-year-old individual, on charges related to child sexual abuse. Cox is set to appear for arraignment in Lawrence County Circuit Court on Monday, facing a total of nine charges. These include four counts of rape of a child, four counts of incest involving a minor victim, as well as one count each of aggravated sexual battery and continuous sexual abuse of a child. Following his arrest, Cox has been detained at the Lawrence County Jail, with his bond set at a substantial $2 million.
