Marjorie Gail Jones, 89, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on October 16th, 2025. Gail was born on February 29th, 1936, to the late Horace and Thula May White. She worked at Salant & Salant before becoming a full-time homemaker, caring for her children and grandchildren. Gail enjoyed cooking, fishing, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Jones, daughter Cathy Braden, 3 sisters, and 4 brothers. Gail is survived by her sons, Michael Jones and Jim Jones, grandchildren Chuck Braden (Sofia), Cody Braden (Mallory), Mark Jones, and Lisa Clark, great-grandchildren Charley, Ezra, Ryan, Bailey, Kennedy, great-great-grandchild Bryson, several nieces and nephews, and her canine companion, Mia.
Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Monday, October 20th, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m., officiated by Brother Jeff Toungette. Interment will be held at Center Point Methodist Cemetery. Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home is honored to handle all final arrangements.
