Mary Ann Young, age 86, of Pulaski, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Ivy Crest Assisted Living. She was born in Pulaski, TN on September 25, 1939, to John and Mildred Birdsong Owen. Mary Ann retired from Genesco and was a former employee of the Pencil Factory in Lewisburg. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Mildred Owen, her husband Paul Young, her son Mike Young, her brother Gary Kirk Owen, and her brother-in-law Johnny Dickey.
Visitation will be held from 10am-12pm on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home, with the Funeral Service following beginning at 12pm. Interment will be in Pisgah Cemetery.
Mary Ann is survived by her sons Doug Young (Kim) of Lawrenceburg, Gregg Young of Pulaski, Jon Young (Traci) of Pulaski, her brother Thomas Leslie Owen (Patsy) of Pulaski, her sister Betty Sue Dickey of Pulaski, 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
