Mary Jo Howard, 92, of Killen, passed away March 6, 2024, at Florence Comprehensive Rehab Center. She was retired from Ford Motor Company, where she was one of the first 6 women to be hired there, and from TVA. She was a member of Woodlawn Church of Christ and also attended Atlas Church of Christ.
Survivors include:
Daughters: Mary Olive (Doug) & Teresa Canerday
Grandchildren: Jimmy Dale Howard III (who she raised as a son), Bonnie Black (Kevin) &
Brett Olive (Jenna)
(12) Great grandchildren; (10) great-great grandchildren
Preceded in death by:
Parents: William McKinley Campbell & Carrie Pennington Campbell
Son: Jimmy Dale Howard, Jr.
Brother: William Penn Campbell
Sisters: Marie McGregor & Theda England
Grandsons: Joseph Canerday & Jason Canerday
Visitation will be on Saturday, March 9, 2024, from 12:00 – 2:00pm, at Woodlawn Church of Christ. The funeral service will follow at 2:00pm, at the church, with Bro. Miles Stutts & Bro. Matt Heupel officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
