Mary Martha Bolger

Mary Martha Bolger, 77, of Pulaski, TN, passed away on Monday, December 30th, 2024 at her residence. Born in Oakpark, IL on February 13th, 1947, Mary made a lasting impact on the lives of many. She was a cherished employee at God’s Storehouse for 6 years and dedicated over 20 years to the tree business as The Stump Lady. Her passion for volunteering with Giles County 4-H was evident, and she took great pride in her family, especially her grandson Daniel, his wife Sara, and her great grandson Holden. Mary’s love for animals was boundless, and her kindness left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

A visitation will be held on January 9th, 2025 from 4:00pm-6:00pm with a Memorial Service at 6:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to God’s Storehouse of Pulaski or Giles County 4-H.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred Carl Guhl and Mary Barbara Skiba, her husband, Phillip Bolger, Jr, her daughter, Chantal Spears, and her sister, Janet Guhl-Kirby. She is survived by her sister, Alice Cavanaugh of CA, her daughter, Chandra (Michael) Nelms of Pulaski, TN, her grandson, Daniel (Sara) Peralta of WI, her great grandson, Holden Peralta of WI, her granddaughter, Amber (Jack) Demaree of AZ, and her great grandchildren, Zoe Delci and Christopher Demaree of AZ.
