Maury County Firefighters Active Throughout the Weekend

Over the weekend, firefighters in Maury County were actively engaged in responding to multiple incidents. On Saturday afternoon, emergency personnel were called to the scene of a single-vehicle accident on Carters Creek Pike, specifically in the vicinity of Belmont Lane. The crash took place at approximately 2:44 PM and involved a vehicle colliding with a tree. Upon their arrival, firefighters discovered one individual who appeared to have been ejected from the vehicle. Due to the severity of the situation, the patient was airlifted from the scene for immediate medical attention.

The following morning, first responders were once again summoned, this time to address a motor vehicle accident that occurred near the intersection of Highway 99 and Highway 431. This incident, which took place around 1:28 AM, involved a car that had crashed through a fence and subsequently entered a barn. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in this particular incident, allowing responders to focus on securing the area and assessing the damage.
