Starting January 13th, the Maury County Highway Department will initiate repair work on the bridge spanning the Duck River. As a result of these necessary repairs, the Tom J. Hitch roadway will be closed to all through traffic. This section of road is situated between Bear Creek Pike, also known as Highway 412, and Iron Bridge Road. Motorists are advised to use Highway 31 in downtown Columbia as the primary detour during this period. For further details or inquiries, residents and travelers can reach out to the Maury County Highway Department.
