The latest data from the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office reveals a busy month of May, with deputies responding to a total of 1150 calls for service. These calls, which encompass both proactive and reactive measures, led to 175 arrests being made.
In addition to the arrests, the Sheriff’s Office conducted 175 traffic stops, 317 civil processes, 34 funeral escorts, 31 domestic violence-related calls, 14 vandalism incidents, 30 responses to burglar alarms, and 13 theft reports. Deputies were also called to the scenes of 33 crashes and responded to 42 calls regarding suspicious activity or suspicious persons.
