Melba Ann Cabler

Melba Ann Cabler, 83, of Florence, passed away on October 9, 2025, at her residence. She was a devoted homemaker and a cherished member of Shiloh Church of Christ. Melba was a loving wife to her late husband Charles for 58 years and dedicated her time to benevolent work for the church. She was also known for her gifted seamstress skills and her love for gardening.

Melba is survived by her son Mark Cabler (Michelle), daughters Sandy Smith and Tammy Cobb (Kevin), brother Buddy Terry, sister Merle Garrison and Jimmie Lou Lemmond, as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Edward Cabler, Jr., parents Floyd Clarence Terry and Stella Prudence Fuller Terry, brothers Harold Terry, Felton Terry, Gordon Terry, Dewey Terry, Calvin Terry, and Carl Terry, as well as sisters Betty Morgan and Marcie Sandlin, and great-grandson Turner Ray Wilbanks.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2025, from 5:00pm – 8:00pm, at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will take place on Monday, October 13, 2025, at 1:00pm, in the funeral home chapel, with Bro. Hoby Grace officiating. Burial will follow at Lone Cedar Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include Brodie Cobb, Cade Cabler, Cody Wilbanks, Will Cabler, Randy Smith, and Ricky Cabler.
