Michael D. “Mike” Brooks

Michael D. “Mike” Brooks, a devoted father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2025 at STRHS Pulaski. Mike, a beloved member of the Pulaski community, resided there for 52 years after moving from Nashville, TN.

A man of faith, Mike was a dedicated member of Choates Creek United Methodist Church. He lived his life with kindness and service, retiring from the Giles County Board of Education after 28 years in the school maintenance department. His hard work and dedication left a lasting impact on the schools and the many lives he touched.

Mike had a deep love for the outdoors and could often be found fishing, hunting, or boating—pastimes that brought him great joy. However, nothing compared to his passion for Tennessee football. A true Vol for Life, he never missed an opportunity to cheer on his beloved Tennessee Volunteers.

He is survived by his loving children, Matthew Brooks of Lawrenceburg, TN, Jacob Brooks (Stacy) of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Cameron Quinto of Pulaski, TN. He was a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind one brother, one sister, and a host of cherished aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mike will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy of love, faith, and unwavering Volunteer spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

Family request in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the Choates Creek Cemetery Fund.
