Milton Hood, 85, of Goodspring, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025 at STRHS in Pulaski. He was born on July 3, 1940, in the Shores community to Nathan and Chloe Morris Hood. Milton retired from Stanley Tools after 40 years of dedicated service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, digging ginseng, and watching his son Mark play ball. In his later years, he found joy in mowing and weed-eating whenever he could. Milton was preceded in death by his parents, Nathan and Chloe Hood, daughter Darla Gayle Story, sisters Joyce Hood McCluskey, Lyla Pearl Barns, brothers Charles Hubert Hood, and Morris Wayne Hood.
No services are scheduled at this time. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Cora Lee Hood of Goodspring, son Mark Hood of Goodspring, several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Carr & Erwin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
