On Tuesday, November 26th, authorities discovered a body in Summertown, identified as 31-year-old Alexander McDeavitt from Columbia. His family had their last communication with him on November 15th, and it was 11 days later that he was found in the Summertown vicinity. In response to this tragic incident, the Maury County Sheriff’s Department has mandated an autopsy to ascertain the cause of death. As the investigation continues, no additional information has been released at this time.
