God’s Storehouse is set to host a Mobile Food Pantry food giveaway event on Saturday, February 24, starting at approximately 9:00 AM at Rotary Park. Registration will kick off at around 7:00 AM. Attendees in need of food assistance will need to register upon entering the park through the North Military entrance and will receive directions accordingly. To register, individuals must present a photo ID and proof of their mailing address. Each vehicle is limited to two recipients for food pickup.
In addition to those seeking assistance, volunteers are crucial to the success of this event. Volunteers are encouraged to start arriving at the front parking lot of Rotary around 8:00 AM. The call for volunteers extends to church groups, work groups, and social groups. This event offers a valuable opportunity for students and others to earn community service hours. Participants can choose to contribute for as little or as long as they are able.
