Modine Manufacturing Company Issues WARN Notice Regarding Employee Layoffs

This morning, Mayor Blake Lay received a WARN Notification from Modine Manufacturing Company, which has significant implications for the local workforce. The notification revealed that Modine’s LB2 facility, situated at 2004 Remke Avenue in Lawrenceburg, is set to implement permanent layoffs affecting 162 employees, with the layoffs scheduled to commence on April 1st, 2025.

All individuals who will be impacted by this decision have already been informed. In an effort to assist those affected, employers are encouraged to either post any available job openings or update existing listings on Jobs4TN.gov or their preferred job boards. Modine Manufacturing is committed to facilitating connections between the displaced workers and local employment opportunities as swiftly as possible.

In response to this situation, the Chamber is actively collaborating with the Tennessee Department of Labor to ensure that appropriate services are made available to the workers who will be affected by these layoffs. This proactive approach aims to provide support and resources to help those impacted navigate this challenging transition.
