The inquiry conducted by the Florence Police Department uncovered that Kimberlin Reyes and her mother, Claudia Reyes, executed wire transfers amounting to a substantial $38,800, which were directed into their personal bank accounts.
As a result of these findings, both individuals now face serious legal repercussions, being charged with first-degree theft of property as well as wire fraud. Following their arrest, they were processed and taken into custody at the Lauderdale County Detention Center, where each has been assigned a bond set at $30,000.
