In a recent development in Mount Pleasant, a woman has found herself in legal trouble as she allegedly sought retribution against her husband’s victim. Aldegonda Bienca Fletcher, aged 63, was apprehended on the morning of May 7, 2025, and now faces serious charges including felony retaliation, aggravated criminal trespass, and vandalism. This incident comes in the wake of her husband, David Fletcher, 57, who was due to appear in Maury County general sessions court that same day. He is facing accusations related to disturbing the peace and damaging property belonging to an elderly woman, incidents that reportedly occurred several months earlier.
As Mr. Fletcher’s case was called, a court officer requested that the judge expedite the proceedings, moving directly to trial. The officer informed the court that Mrs. Fletcher had allegedly driven onto the property of the victim earlier that morning, seemingly with the intention of exacting revenge for her husband’s actions. The judge acquiesced to the request, setting a trial date for Mr. Fletcher on September 10, 2025. He will face the same charges as his wife, in addition to a violation of an order of protection.
Following her arrest on May 15, Mrs. Fletcher was released later that evening after posting a $10,000 bond. Meanwhile, the circuit court has temporarily sealed additional information from public access at the request of the district attorney, leaving some details of the case undisclosed for the time being.
